Relay for Life pictures The Fight Back Ceremony in the morning started with a relay race through an obstacle course. For a neophyte, filling out the Federal Form 990 is an obstacle course under the best of circumstances. These have not been the best of circumstances. Relay creates an opportunity to create a flash herd. We should take advantage of that. The youngest of the group are ready to piggyback into history. We won the first heat but lost by a hair’s breadth in the final. Those who had stayed through the night were relieved in the morning by the crew from Westport Dental, though Harry and Mike, who arrived first were ultimately the last of Walking with Jane to leave. The custodial staff helped with clean-up but took time out for this picture with a member of the Westport Dental staff. Westport Dental relieved the night walkers in the early morning on Saturday. Walking with Jane was one of a handful of teams with people still walking the track at closing ceremonies.
